Bisayan Book / Książka po Bisaya

W tych dniach ukazała się nowa książka o o. Dehonie, założycielu Sercanów. Tytuł ksiażki oddaje jej treść: “Ang Kinabuhi ug Espirituwalidad ni Leo Dehon,” który można przetłumaczyć jako: Życie i duchowość Leona Dehona. Wydrukowana w Legacy Printing Press, w Cagayan de Oro, książka ta, napisana jest prostym językiem i przeznaczona dla młodych czytelników oraz kandydatów do naszego zgromadzenia.

Wydanie tej książki zbiegło się z 25 rocznicą obecności Sercanów na Filipinach. Tak więc, jest ona pewnego rodzaju dodatkiem i wkładem w naszą misję tutaj.

Moja radość jest tym większa, ponieważ jest to pierwsza książka o o. Dehonie w lokalnym języku Bisaya. Mam nadzieję, że jej przesłanie dotrze nawet do najdalej położonych zakątkow wyspy Mindanao i Visayas. Do ludzi prostych i tych, którzy nie potrafią czytać po angielsku.

Miejmy nadzieję, że nie jest to ostatnia książka napisana po Bisaya. Tutejsi Dehonianie będą nią zainspirowani, aby pisać i publikować więcej o o. Dehonie i jego charyzmacie.

Dziekuję wszystkim, którzy pomagali przy tłumaczeniu i edycji tej książki. Szczęść Boże...

A new book on Fr Dehon and Dehonian spirituality was just published in the Legacy Printing press in Cagayan de Oro. It is a simple book mend for young people who live in Dehonian parishes and for the candidates applying to the SCJ.

We are on the threshold of a Silver Jubilee of the presence of the SCJ in the Philippines. This book is edited on this occasion. It is a small contribution to the SCJ mission in Asia on this solemn occasion of our Jubilee. 

My joy is wholehearted since it is the first Bisayan book on the Dehonian spirituality and our Founder. I hope it will reach places and people who have never heard about us and our mission, especially in the mountainous regions among people who cannot read English.

And finally, I wish that the first Bisayan book will be not the last one. I hope it might be an inspiration for our Filipino Dehonians to write more and translate to other dialects of this Great Country.

Bohol

Bohol to dziesiąta co do wielkości wyspa Archipelagu Filipińskiego. Jenda z największych wysp, należących do grupy wysp ‘Visayas', położonych w centralnej części kraju. Bohol to także jedna z Prowincji tego kraju, ze stolicą w Tagbilaran City. 

W Bohol znajdują się trzy ciekawe atrakcje turystyczne: las tropikalny, najmniejsze małpy świata (tarsiery) i tzw. ‘Czekoladowe Wzgórza.’ Dla miłośników plaży i pływania , Bohol jest ‘rajem:’ tu znajdują się najpiękniejsze plaże i wspaniały koralowiec, dostępny dla miłośników nurkowania. Blisko położone  wysepki: Panglao, Balicasag i Pamilacan (połączone z Bohol mostem) słyną z wspaniałych resortów i są często odwiedzane przez turystów. 

15 października 2013 r., Bohol został nawiedzony przez mocne trzęsienie ziemi (7.2 stop). To trzęsienie ziemi, którego epicentrum było na sasiedniej wyspie, w Cebu City, zniszczyło wiele pięknych miejsc tej turystycznej wyspy, i pochłonęło 156 ofiar śmiertelnych. Zniszczenia dotknęły rownież unikalne zabytki historyczne i kulturalne, pierwsze pomniki Chrześcijaństwa: stare kościoły w Baclayon, Loboc, Loon, Maribojoc, Loay, Dimiao i Dauis. Jednak większość miejsc wypoczynkowych i resortów nad morzem, nie ucierpiało podczas tego trzęsienia ziemi. 

Bohol to miejsce, na które zawsze zabieram swoich gości i wszystkim tu podróżującym to miejsce polecam. Stąd dlatego wyjeżdża się z żalem, i to miejsce zawsze się pamięta. 
 

Bohol is the tenth largest island in the Philippines. It is one of the bigger islands in 'the Visayas', the group of islands in the center of the Philippines. Bohol is also a province. Capitol city: Tagbilaran.  

For tourists who make a tour through the country, Bohol has three main attractions. These are the tropical forest, the smallest monkey in the world (tarsiers) and the 'Chocolate Hills'. For 'sun, sea and beach lovers', there are a lot of possibilities for snorkelling, diving in the unpolluted waters and relaxing on the splendid beaches of this beautiful and other surrounding islands. 

Two of the smaller islands (near the main island and connected with Bohol by bridge) are Panglao, Balicasag and Pamilacan southwest of the main island Bohol. They are the superb diving spots of the province of Bohol. The diving places are rated among the best of the world.

On 15 October 2013, Bohol was devastated by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake. The earthquake, which also devastated neighbouring Cebu City, claimed 156 lives and injured 374 people. It also destroyed or damaged a number of Bohol's heritage churches, including the churches of Baclayon, Loboc, Loon, Maribojoc, Loay, Dimiao, and Dauis. Most of the tourist attractions, beaches and resorts were not affected by this calamity.
