SCJ Nowicjat / Novitiate 2013 -14

W tych dniach mam rekolekcje dla naszych SCJ nowicjuszy. Robię to już po raz dziesiąty z rzędu. Zawsze odbywa się to w naszym SCJ Nowicjacie. Piękny teran i cisza tego domu, oraz jego położenie w górach, pomaga bardzo. „10” oznacza mały jubileusz hahaha.  Ale tak prawdę mówiąc, to nie czas na świętowanie. To jedynie okazja do refleksji, jak ten czas szybko leci. Tigulang na – mówią miejscowi (już jesteś dziadkiem). Cieszę się, że w ten prosty sposób pomagam naszym pierwszym Filipińczykom, Wietnamczykom i Indusom w ich wyborze powołania. 

Najpierw w listopadzie „przerabiamy” Rozeznanie Ignacjańskie, by później, w styczniu, odprawić rekolekcje rozeznania. Tydzień spędzony z nimi na modlitwie i dzieleniu się, ubogaca mnie bardzo. Daje mi to dużo satysfakcji, widząc, jak Bóg w nich działa. A przy okazji, mi też się udziela wiele łaski. Bóg jest Wielki... jak mówią tu Muzułmanie. 

It is already tenth year since I direct a retreat for our novices in the novitiate. It means that the ten first batches of our Filipino, Vietnamese and some Indians guys had studied discernment and did their discernment retreat with me. Tenth times makes a little anniversary hahaha. Anyway, there was no celebration there. It just makes me aware I am 10 years older. Tigulang na. 

The whole week of praying and sharing with them is not an easy experience but it gives me peace and satisfaction. When I see their growth and progress it also helps me. The God’s grace working within them is so visible and affects me too. And the peaceful and beautiful environment and atmosphere of that area contributes to it a lot. God is great… as the Muslim say!

 

Rekolekcje w nowicjacie / Retreat in the Novitiate



Kaplica nowicjacka

W tym tygodniu mam rekolekcje dla nowicjuszy. To sa indiwidualnie prowadzone rekolekcje na podstawie “Cwiczen Duchowych” sw. Ignacego Loyoli. Dlatego tez, wiecej jest tu modlitwy niz mowienia. W tym roku mamy 10 nowicjuszy: 3 z Filipin i 7 z Indii. Wygladaja na dobrych kandydatow na zakonnikow i misjonarzy. Razem stanowia tez zgrana wspolnote.
Rekolekcje odbywaja sie w samym nowicjacie: Novitiate Fr Dehon w Dumalinao. To zaciszne i piekne miejsce. Poniewaz nowicjat jest polozony wysoko w gorach, w nocy temperature spada do 20°C.



Noviciate Fr Dehon







This week I facilitate a retreat for our novices. It is a directed retreat based on the “Spiritual Exercises” of st. Ignatius of Loyola. There is no much talking but more prayer and personal sharing. We have 10 novices this year, 3 Filipino and 7 Indians. It seems that they are good guys and sincere novices. They are fine community too.

The venue of the retreat is at the Novitiate Fr Dehon in Dumalinao. It is very peaceful and beautiful place. Because it is situated in the mountains, it is cold in the night: 20°C.
