postulanow w naszyn Regionie filipinskim. 5 z Filipin i jeden z Vietnamu.
Obecni postulanci zostali zaakceptowani do postulatu już 14-go marca. Do
naszego domu formacyjnego wrócili w czerwcu, po różnach kursach wakacyjnych,
aby już na dobre zacząć kurs dla postulantów.
Postulat to rok
przygotowawczy do nowicjatu i zwykle trwa on rok. Najważniejszym celem tego
okresu jest formacja ludzka, obok duchowej i intelektualnej. Rodzina,
charakter, zdrowie (a wiec poznanie i zaakceptowanie siebie) przygotowanie do
życia we wspólnocie i zakonie, katechizm oraz ‘abc’ misyjne... to
najistotniejsze tematy postulatu. Postulat to dobra okazja do poznania swoich
wad oraz zranień z dzieciństwa i szkoły. Czas zadania i
odpowiedzenia sobie na podstawowe pytania, tkwiące gdzieś głeboko w sercu, co
do siebie, drugiego człowieka i Boga. Wówczas dopiero, po takiej formacji wstępnej,
nasz kandydat bedzie mogl lepiej wybrać i zadecydowac o swojej dalszej drodze życia.
Kiedyś jeden z
postulantów trafnie podsumował, że postulat to czas stawania się „bardziej
człowiekiem.”
Nasi postulanci
to młodzi i zwykli ludzie, pochodzacy z bardzo różnych kultur i rodzin. W
czasie postulatu nie chodzi się do szkoły. Każdy z nich musi skończyć studia,
aby zostać tu przyjęty. A cała formacja odbywa się w domu formacyjnym lub w
terenie. Cały ten proces to wspaniały i niezapomniany czas przebywania razem...

| Postulanci 2012/13 |
This year we have 6 postulants in the Philippine Region. Five
of them are Filipinos and one is Vietnamese. They were accepted to the
postulancy on March 14th as it is in the custom. After their summer
courses, they came back to the formation house in June to begin their proper formation.
Postulancy lasts for a year and ends at the end of March
with acceptance and entrance to the novitiate. The main focus of this formation
period is on affective and human formation (family, character, community
life…). It is a time of self-awareness and self-acceptance, including also all
kinds of hurts and vices. This should lead to the acceptance of others in the
community and availability to serve people. Postulancy helps to clarify essential
questions regarding vocation and future life. It is a very good opportunity to
make initial vocation discernment.
One of our candidates commenting the postulancy year said
that postulancy is an opportunity to become “more human.”
Our postulants, young and simple guys, come from variety of different
cultures and background. They don’t go to the college or university during the
formation year. They have to complete it and get a degree on philosophy before their
acceptance to the postulancy. All classes, processing and exposures take place
in the formation house and in the mission areas. It is a hard work, but also,
good fun in the community…
