Jak to zwykle
bywa w okresie przedświątecznym, postulanci spędzają 10 dni w górach. Chcą być
bliżej lokalnych mieszkańców, i w ten sposób, pomóc im przygotować się na Święta.
To ich praktyka świąteczna, tzw. Pasko sa
bukid. Na miejsce tej swiątecznej przygody w tym roku została wybrana mała
wioska Midkiwan, w parafi Dansolihon. Chwilowo była też tam obecna młodzież
sercańska przez dwa dni. Przywieźli swiąteczne prezenty dla ubogich dzieci i
młodzieży z tamtej wioski. A więc było to wspólne „joint venture.”A było przy
tym zabawy co nie miara. Na swoją misję, jak i prezenty, postulanci i młodzież
musieli uzbierać swoje fundusze. Zapewne będą to wspaniałe Święta.
As usually the postulants spent novena and Christmas in the
mountains. A village Midkiwan, in Chaplaincy of Dansolihon, was chosen as a
place of their mission (Pasko sa bukid)
this year. They want to stay with the local people to prepare and accompany them
during Christmas. Also Dehonian youth joined them for two days to play with
children and help with youth. So, it was kind of “joint venture.” The
postulants as well as the youth had to raise fund and collect some goods for
the mission. Beside their positive presence they also brought many gifts for the
local children there. Certainly it
will be great Christmas celebration.
