Przedszkole / Kindergarten

Mamy w końcu nowy i ostateczny projekt przedszkola (day care center), na które czekaliśmy od kilku miesięcy. Budowa przedszkola rozpocznie się już za kilka dni we Wiosce Matki Bożego Miłosierdzia w Opol, Cagayan de Oro. Budynek przedszkola, który wykorzystywany będzie do wielu akcji i spotkań edukacyjnych, rownież do nauki pisania i czytania dorosłych, to kolejny element wielkiego projektu „Wioski Miłosierdzia.” Wioska ta jest domem dla ofiar tajfunu Sendong (Washi), który przeszedł przez miasto Cagayan de Oro w 2011 r. i w dużej mierze je zniszczył, a wielu ludzi pozostawił bez dachu nad głową.

We wiosce budowane są domy dla 600 rodzin. Uroczyste błogoslawieństwo gruntu pod budowę przedszkola miało miejsce w maju tego roku, ale sama budowa rusza dopiero teraz. Łączymy się w modlitwie z tymi którzy budują to długo wyczekiwane przedszkole i zachęcamy do dalszej współpracy na rzecz pokrzywdzonych tajfunem Sendong. 

Projekt przedszkola, jak i wielu elementów czy przeróżnych inicjatyw we Wiosce Miłosierdzia w Opol, jest w dużej mierze sponsorowane przez dobroczyńców i przyjaciół skupionych wokół Sekretariatu Misji Zagranicznych Prowincji Polskiej w Lublinie. Jesteśmy im za to badzo wdzięczni.

Finally we have the new and final plan (sketch) of the day care center. We were waiting for it the last few months. Thus, the work on the building will begin soon in the Village of the Mother of the Divine Mercy in Opol, Cagayan de Oro. The day care center is the next element of this big project, so called, “Village of Mercy.” It will be used for kids and for any kind of teaching and educational activities. Ground breaking of this kindergarten took place in May 2014 but the building will start just now. 

“Village of Mercy” is a home for 600 families. They are victims of typhoon Sendong (Washi) which hit the city of Cagyan de Oro City on January 16, 2011. Beside the kindergarten there are also plans to build a playground, market and chapel in the “Village of Mercy.” Hopefully it will be possible with the cooperation and generosity of many people. 

The project of the day care center, likewise all the elements of the village, are partially sponsored by the friends and benefactors of the Mission Secretary of the SCJ Polish Province in Lublin. We are very grateful to them.
