Triduum Paschalne, jako
najwazniejszy okres liturgiczny dla Chrzescijan, jest przezywane na Filipinach bardzo spontanicznie i naturalnie. Oprocz
liturgicznego swietowania w kosciolach, ludzie organizuja wiele innych
celebracji, ktore im przypominaja o tajemnicach meki i smierci Jesusa Chrystusa
(prezentacje meki Panskiej tzw. sinakulo,
publiczne praktyki pokutne, koncerty...).
Ciekawy przebieg ma msza Wieczerzy Panskiej w W. Czwartek.
Wioska wybiera 12 apostolow, zaufanych mezczyzn, ktorzy najbardziej zaangazowani
sa w zycie wspolnoty. Oni stanowia aktywna oprawe liturgii. To wlasnie im,
kaplan umywa nogi, a po mszy, razem z ksiedzem, ci sami apostolowie zapraszani
sa do glownego stolu na “ostatnia wieczerze” przed piatkowym postem.
Celebracja Wielkiego Piatku zaczyna sie juz o brzasku dnia.
Wtedy odbywa sie Droga Krzyzowa (Via cruces)
ktora ma charakter procesji. Ludzie przebrani w apostolow, zolnierzy rzymskich,
Jesusa i Maryje, przechodza ulicami miast i wiosek. Wszystko konczy sie
ukrzyzowaniem. Sa pewne rejony na Filipinach (np. w San Fernando, Pampanga),
gdzie to misterium ma bardzo rzeczywisty charakter. Biczowanie, czy
ukrzyzowanie, odbywa sie realnie.
Powszechnym zwyczajem jest rowniez rozwazanie ostatnich slow
Jesusa (tzw. siete palabras). Kazde slowo
Jesusa jest osobno rozwazane lub przedstawiane, jako teatr uliczny, przez mlodziez.
W tym samym duchu pokutnym, niektorzy odwiedzaja siedem roznych kosciolow lub
kaplic (visita iglsia). Czesto taka
pielgrzymka zajmuje im kilka dni, ze wzgledu na duze odleglosci.
Ukoronowaniem wielkiego tygodnia i Triduum Paschalnego jest celebracja rezurekcji. Ale w szczegolach o

Paschal Triduum,
as the most important season for Christians, is marked by a number of events
lively celebrated by Filipinos in the churches and outside. Church liturgy as
well as drama, concerts or passion play (sinakulo) is organized to help people
to remember Christ’s suffering and death.
On Holy Thursday, the Last Supper mass is always assisted by
12 apostles. They are chosen from the most respected men in local community.
Priest, the main celebrant, will wash their feet and, after mass, will eat with
them “the last supper” before fasting on Friday.
Good Friday begins very early. There is a celebration of the
Station of the Cross (via cruces) in
every village and town in the dawn. Procession begins in the chapel and ends
somewhere in the hills. Sometimes, the crucifixion and scourging of Christ is
re-enacted by devote people who are prepared for this role throughout entire Lent season. In famous region of San Fernando, Pampanga, for example, such
presentation concludes with mortification and shading of blood. Some Filipinos
are literally nailed to the cross. Others are crown with thorns, and still
others inflict pain on themselves.
Some Catholics prefer less painful Lents traditions such Siete Plabras. They reflect the last
seven words of Jesus dying on the cross. This celebration can be performed in
the form of adoration or as a street play by youth. In the same spirit of
penance, others choose a pilgrimage to visit seven different churches (Via Iglesia). It sometimes takes a few
days to complete this promise since the distance between the churches is large.
Colorful Easter Sunday celebration concludes all the ceremonials
of the Paschal Triduum. But I will

Marinduque during the Holy Week. The Moriones are male and female participants
who dress like Roman soldiers in commemoration of Saint Longinus, the Roman
soldier who stabbed Jesus on his side. "Morion," literally means mask
which was a part of the Roman soldiers' armor
